Lucille C. (Kucharski) Houle

Mrs. Lucille C. (Kucharski) Houle, 76, of Smithfield, RI was granted her angel wings on March 4, 2017. Her final days were spent around her family and friends that loved her very much. She was the beloved wife of Roland T. Houle for 54 years.

Born Lucille Kucharski to the late Raymond and Mary Kucharski, she graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1958. She was a long time office manager before retiring. Lucille loved to read and spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Karen L. Hunter and her husband Keith of Gloucester, MA; her daughter Paula J. Houle and her husband Brick George of Woburn, MA; her son Roland T. Houle, Jr. and his wife Debra of Ashland, MA; her son Barry M. Houle and his wife KaraBeth of Smithfield, RI; and her 8 beloved grandchildren that meant so much to her - AJ, Brent, Kelsey, Brianna, Benjamin, Sam, Grace, and Catherine.

She is also survived by her sister Rena Pennington and her husband Russell of Lauderdale By the Sea, FL; her brother Raymond Kucharski of Woonsocket; her sister Linda Boucher of Woonsocket; as well as many in-laws, nieces, and nephews that she loved so much.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at  9:00 A.M.   from the  Kubaska Funeral Home  ,33 Harris Ave, Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at  10:00 A.M. at  Our Lady Queen of Martyrs on 1409 Park Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will be at St. John's cemetery in Slatersville. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Wednesday , (March 8th)  from 5:00 to 8:00  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
