Warren D. Smith, 82, passed away peacefully on January 26, in his home with his family by his side. Warren was a loving husband for over fifty years to his late wife, Carol Smith.
Warren was born April 9, 1937 in Boston, MA and was the son to the late Edith (Olsen) and Harold Smith. He resided in Uxbridge for his last few years surrounded by family. Warren served the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal (E-4) from 1956 to 1962. Following he served 31 years with General Motors. He finally retired at the age of 78 years old from Precious Metal.
Warren had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Warren enjoyed trains, watching movies and could be seen playing board games with his family on the weekend.
He leaves behind his son, David Smith and his wife Jane Smith of Uxbridge, a daughter, Pamela Smith of Virginia; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Smith and his wife Allexa Smith of Uxbridge, Christina Payamps and her husband David Payamps of Virginia, and Jonathan Smith and his wife Samantha Smith of Worcester; and 3 great grandchildren, Emma, Christopher, and Alida.
His funeral will be privately held.
