Valerie K. (Luszcz) Garlacy

Valerie K. (Luszcz) Garlacy, 85, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, at Rhode Island Hospital
with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Theodore A. Garlacy. Born July 31, 1928 in Woonsocket, she was
the daughter of the late Sebastien and Waleria (Surowiec) Luszcz, she resided in Woonsocket all her life. For 35 years, Valerie
was employed as a operator and supervisor for the Telephone Co. working in the Woonsocket, Providence & Boston office, retiring
in 1981. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, St. Joseph 's Senior Group, The St. Stephen Ministry, a communicant
of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Woonsocket, which she was past president of the parish Ladies Sodality, also a member the parish choir and the parish senior group. Her favorite passtime was reading. Besides her husband she leaves a son Theodore A. Garlacy Jr.
and his wife Theresa of Smithfield. A sister Julie Bessey of Leominster, MA. Also several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph & Stanley Luszcz, Josephine Wisniowski, Helen Wojcik, and Anna Popek. Her Funeral will be Monday , March 3rd at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church Harris
Ave. Woonsocket, burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
