Thomas M. Burr

Thomas " Timtom" Michael Burr 57, of Cumberland R.I. passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Brigham and Woman's Hospital on Sunday April 17 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Attleboro Ma to Thomas and Doris Burr, Tom lived most of his life in the Attleboro area.
Tom was a hardworking passionate man who loved life and spending time with his family. He spent most of his adult life working in the jewelry industry and most recently was a proud business owner and inventor. Tom loved the outdoors, was always active and he was an avid "weather nut".
He loved watching all his favorite sports teams , especially the Bruins as he was a huge hockey fanatic. Tom also loved music, politics, and especially dancing with his wife.
Tom was extremely loving and proud of his family. He is survived by his wife and best friend Judy (Cousineau) Burr, son Derrek Burr and his wife Nicole, daughter Tina Carrico and her husband Kevin, brothers Richard and Kevin, sisters Robin, Pamela, and Debra as well as 4 granddaughters, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 23 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Kubaska Funeral Home 33 Harris Ave Woonsocket, R.I. 02895.
