Susan James

August 16th, 2023, Susan James, 62, passed away peacefully with her beloved family by her
side. Late that evening, the clouds lifted and Susan’s mother and father, Gloria and Gordon
James, ushered her to heaven.
Susan was residing in Blackstone, MA, and prior to the move to MA in 2015, Sue spent the
majority of her life in Burlington, VT. She is survived by her sister, Laurie King, her
brother-in-law, Randy King, her nephew/godson and niece, Corey and Alexandra King, her
great nephew, Jaylen Borden, and her cat, Roscoe. Also many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Sue was passionate about her job before getting sick. She held various positions across
Costco Wholesale Club, including cashier, bakery department, and greeting people with her
uplifting personality.
Susan had found a passion for planting and gardening in her later years, where she had
made a memory garden; she had love for giving to others and remembering loved ones. Her
personality was bright and beautiful, with the most contagious laugh.
After enduring an arduous battle with COPD, she was ready to be at peace. Susan was
planted on earth to bloom in heaven.
A Celebration of Life will be held in September in Vermont and Massachusetts. Details to
