Stacia R. (Holubesko) Waszkiewicz, 98, a resident of the Ballou Home for the Aged, passed away peacefully on Thursday at the home with her family by her side, She was the loving wife of the late John L. Waszkiewicz. Born, Oct. 16, 1918 in Manville, RI, she was the daughter of the late Louis & Antonia (Ziemba) Holubesko. Stacia was employed as a winder for many years at various textile companies in the area. She is survived by a son, Charles M. Waszkiewicz of Coventry, RI, a daughter, CarolAnn Charbonneau of No. Smithfield, RI, 3 sisters, Sophie Mei of Manville, RI, Phyllis Huizenga of Chesapeake, VA., & Louise Warszawski of Lincoln, RI, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Joseph, Frank & Walter Holubesko, & 3 sisters, Mary Shackleton, Caroline Peloquin & Stephanie Bissonette. Her Funeral will be Wednesday, (Dec. 28th) at 9:30 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. prior to the Funeral Mass.
