Shane C. Cotter, 57, of Plainfield, CT. passed away on May 19th, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband to Donna (Paul) Cotter and loving father to Julia Cotter.
Born, Feb. 14, 1967 in Providence, RI, he was the son of Donald Cotter of Warwick, RI, and the late Patricia (Daly) Cotter.
Shane was a retired Registered Nurse , who was previously employed at various hospitals in RI. He was an avid HAM Radio operator, he was proud of his Irish Heritage, and he loved and adored his three dogs.
Beside his wife, daughter and father he leaves a brother, Kevin and his wife Cheryl Cotter of Warwick, RI., a sister, Kimberly and her husband Fredy Cotter-Lemus of South Kingstown, RI., several cousins, nieces and nephews, including a great nephew and a great niece on the way.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, (May 29th) at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 Mendon Rd. in Woonsocket, RI., Visitation hours are Tuesday, (May 28th) from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, RI. All are invited. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shane’s memory can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
