Salvatore “Sam” Fazzio, 94, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 in Pinellas Park, FL., with his loving wife by his side. He was the loving husband to Andrea Fazzio. He was a Cumberland resident for 44 years and was also a winter resident in Seminole, FL.
Born February 5, 1931, he was the son of the late Calagero “Charles” and Felomena (Cervini) Fazzio.
Sam was an Assistant Vice President for the former Fleet Bank, which is now Bank of America retiring in 1995. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Sam and Andres enjoyed traveling across and throughout the United States.
He was a member of the 850 Woonsocket Lodge of Elks, the Cercle Laurier, the Italian Workingmen’s Club, and former member of the former First Ward-Italian American Citizens Club.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son William Fazzio of Providence, a daughter Sandra Kreglo of Washington and a step daughter Nancy Dumond of Largo, Fl .5 grandchildren, also a brother Richard Fazzio of Woonsocket. He was predeceased by his siblings, Charles and Frank Fazzio, Jennie Wright, Dee Capuano, Angie Kane, and Mary Grondines.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation hours from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, (August 15th), with a prayer service at 1:00 PM, at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33-35 Harris Ave, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
