Rosaire A. Lemieux

Mr. Rosaire A. "Frenchie" Lemieux died peacefully at home on June 3, 2015 , in Woonsocket, RI at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family that loved him dearly. Rosaire is survived by his wife, Lorraine and his 4 beloved children, Deborah Fontaine and Donna Fontaine, both of Woonsocket, Theresa and her husband Leroy Hilliker of Port Orange, FL, and son Joseph and his wife Donna Lemieux of Woonsocket, 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sisters Angeline Milot of FL., and Noella Gariepy of Woonsocket. He is preceded in death by his grandson Aaron J. Lemieux and sister Claire Shank of TX. Rosaire was born in 1930 in Saco, ME., to the late Joseph and Lea ( Turgeon) Lemieux. After serving in the Korean War he resided in Woonsocket. He was a lifelong, highly respected carpenter in all phases of construction in New England. His children remember him as a diligent, hard working father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was a dedicated individual who loved hunting, deep sea fishing and being outdoors with his roses. Relatives and Friends are invited to visitation hours on Wednesday, September 9th from 5;00 to 7;30 P.M. at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket , a Memorial service will be at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home following the visitation hours.
