Romeo T. Roy

Romeo T. Roy passed away peacefully on October 24, 2015 at St. Antoine Residence, his home for the past three years. Born July 6, 1921 in Armargh, Quebec Canada. He was the son of Zephirin and Emma (Roy) Roy and brother to 15 siblings including the late Yvonne LaFlamme, Cedulie Bernard and Eudore Roy of Uxbridge/Northbridge Ma. He migrated to the United States in his 20's and worked for Whitinsville Machine Shop for over 35 years. He was married to Yvonne P. Guillette for 52 years and was a resident of North Smithfield, moving to Woonsocket after retirement. He was a communicant of Precious Blood Church.
He was the loving, hard working, father of Normand T. Roy of Pomfret Center, CT and his wife Denise, Roland R. Roy, of Whitinsville and daughter Jacqueline R. Richardson, wife of Robert Richardson of Burrillville, RI. He leaves great fun loving memories for his six grandchildren, Bradley Richardson, Jennifer Roy, Jonathan Roy, Ashley Roy, Stephanie Roy and Elizabeth Roy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday October 31,2015 at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., burial will be at St James Cemetery, Manville. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Antoine's Residence, Activity Fund, 2B unit, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield RI 02896
