Roman Browchuk Obituary

Roman P. “CornCob” Browchuk, 80, passed away peacefully with his children by his side. He was the loving husband of 52 years to the late Phyllis (Kuzdeba) Browchuk. He is survived by his three children, Kevin, Darlene and Marianne, and a plethora of other friends and relatives who loved him dearly including grandchildren, great grandchildren and in laws.

Roman will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor. Friends and family will recall stories he would tell about his time in the Navy. Roman enjoyed quiet afternoons, fishing, listening to country music and fashion.

In retirement, after a career at Honeywell and Bull Tech, Roman enjoyed bird watching, maintaining his vegetable  and flower gardens, and watching football. He continued adding carefully selected country items to his wardrobe, and even learned how to buy things on Amazon to get the perfect cowboy belt buckle. His favorite saying and family tradition, “And don’t forget to butter your popcorn tree”.

His Funeral will Wednesday, (March 23rd) at 10:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket , followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Resurrection  Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Tuesday, (March 22nd) from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
