Roger R. Falardeau; 67, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on June 17th, at his home with his loving family & friends by his side. He was the loving husband to Ruth (Kucharski) Falardeau, in which they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 27th.
Born, June 22, 1954, in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Ernest & Jeanne (Dufrense) Falardeau.
Before retiring, Roger was employed as a truck driver for the former Edgecomb Metals Co. in Slatersville and then a mail driver for the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a jack of all trades especially in carpentry, and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He also volunteered at the St. Theresa Shrine in Nasonville.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Dale and his wife Jennifer, Falardeau of Mapleville, a brother, Ernest Falardeau of Bowling Springs, FL., a sister Rachel Cenedella of Woonsocket, and two grandchildren, Nathan and Ella. He was the father to the late Jason Falardeau and brother to the late Estelle Dubeau.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 22nd., at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St. Slatersville, RI. Burial will be in St. Theresa’s Cemetery in Nasonville. Starting at 10:30 a.m. the family will greet guests at the side entrance of the Church. (to the left of the church, across form the parking lot).
