Richard R. Charbonneau, 71, of Black Plain Rd., passed away on Thursday at the Home & Hospice Care Center
of R.I. in Providence, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Carol A. (Waskiewicz) Charbonneau
Born, September 17, 1941, in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Ralph & Dorothy (Dumas) Charbonneau, he
resided in No. Smithfield for many years. Richard was employed as a Systems Operator for the Blackstone Valley
Electric Co., which is now the NationalGrid Co. for 35 years retiring in 2000. He proudly served in the U.S. ARMY,
during the Vietnam Era. He was a avid fisherman, and he loved visiting & exploring Lighthouses' on the New England
Coast. Besides his wife he leaves a son John M. Charbonneau of Woonsocket, a Daughter, Cheryl A. Dailing of Millville, MA.
6 Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild. His Funeral will be Tuesday, (Nov. 20th) with a Mass of Christian Burial at
11:00 A.M. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be in
Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, Relatives & Friends are invited to Visitation Hours on Tuesday morning from
8:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket.
