Raymond N. DeGrange, 62, formerly of Blackstone, MA.USA
died unexpectedly on February 1, 2012 while living in
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was the son of the late
Albert & Anna (Susla) DeGrange.
Devoted father of Jason DeGrange and his wife Kerri of
Granville, MA. and Steven DeGrange of Westfield, MA.
Brother of Barbara Dunayeski of Blackstone, MA., Albert
DeGrange and Dorothy DeGrange of Plainville, MA. Loving
grandfather of Ava and Sam DeGrange. He was the brother
of the late Carol Sims. He also leaves numerous nieces
and nephews.
Ray was born on December 23, 1949 and was a 1967 graduate
of Blackstone High School. He attended Bryant College
majoring in Management.
Ray was a District Manager for York Steak House and in
recent years was Manager of The Market Place in Bermuda. Before retiring in Myrtle Beach, Ray was a
Sales Representative for Keebler.
Ray was a very humble person and had a heart of gold.
He was alot of fun to be with and would want everyone
to remember the happy times. Ray loved the ocean,
motorcycles, movies and traveling to various tropical
islands. Also, Ray had the opportunity to fly the
Red Baron Plane, (a two-passenger airplane that was
used in WWI) During WWI the pilot painted his plane red
and it became famous worldwide as the Red Baron Plane.
A Funeral Mass was held on March 31st, at St. Theresa's
Parish in Blackstone,MA., USA. Ray was laid to rest
at Saint Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.,USA. Friends & Family are welcome to send
condolences or share their memories of Ray to his sister Dorothy at ddegr143@gmail.com. Ray's family
would be appreciative of any recollections of Ray.
