Philomena and my Dad, Jan Kormanski, had many lengthy telephone chats in later years. He always enjoyed the chance to talk in Polish.

She was a special lady and she generously welcomed our family when we arrived in the United States many years ago.

Our condolences to all the family.

Philomena gave generously of her time at the McFee Mem. Library, Woonsocket High School helping students find books, filing cards and interacting with the students. She also completed xeroxing requests. As a clerk, I had many enjoyable conversations with Philomena. I am sorry to read of her passing and offer my condolences to her family.
