Monique H. (Blanchard) Sitnik

Monique H. (Blanchard) Sitnik, passed away peacefully on Friday at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Ctr. in Providence. She was the loving wife of 47 years to Henry Sitnik. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo & Yvonne (Bernier) Blanchard., she resided in Woonsocket all her life.

Monique retired as a secretary at the CVS Corp.  in Woonsocket. Before CVS, she was employed at the former Tupperware Co. along with her husband and other family members. She enjoyed camping and she was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church of Woonsocket.

Besides her husband, she leaves several nieces & nephews, several grandnieces & grandnephews, and cousins Anna Gamache and Raymond Blanchard. She was the sister of the late Gerard Blanchard.

Her Funeral will be Wednesday, (Jan. 31, 2024) at 9:00 AM ,from the Kubaska Funeral Home ,33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Anthony’s Church, 128 Greene St. Woonsocket,  Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Tuesday, (Jan. 30th) from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
