Marie Z. Gawrada, 88, of Church St. passed away on Tuesday at home. Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Peter and Julia ( Szczur)
Gawrada, She resided in Woonsocket all her life. Marie was a graduate of The Rhode Island College of Education also Providence College and Brown University. She was a teacher in the City of Woonsocket Public School System, primarily at Woonsocket Junior High School before retiring. She was a Communicant of St. Michael'sUkrainian Catholic Church in Woonsocket. She is survived by several nieces & nephews.
Her Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave.
with a Mass of Devine Liturgy at 10:30 A.M. in St. Michaels' Ukrainian Catholic Church, Blackstone St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation hour will be Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. before the Funeral Mass.
