Marguerite E. "Maggie" Carter, 84, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, at Landmark Medical Ctr. She was the loving wife of the late Alfred Vadenais & Eugene "Skippy" Carter. Born August 27, 1930 in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Leone (Baillergeon) Lafleche. Marguerite was employed as Supervisor for Owens Corning & N.E.I. Co. before retiring. Her favorite pastimes included, playing cards, making puzzles, attending social gatherings, reading, going to the movies & traveling Her favorite TV, host was Merv Griffin which she was so proud to say she was his biggest fan, She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Rachel & Madeleine Vadenais and a stepson Michael Carter. also predeceased by a brother & sister, Marcel & Constance Lafleche. she is survived by a stepson Daniel Carter of Mobile, AL., & 2 stepdaughters Janice Inman of Clifton Park, NY & Jeanne Taylor if Bellingham, MA. she was well loved by several nieces & nephews, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Her Funeral will be Monday, Oct. 20th, at 10:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Agatha's Church, Fairfield & Logee St. Woonsocket, Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville, RI, Relatives & Friends are invited.
