Lillian A. (Allen) Pennington

Lillian A. (Allen) Pennington, 93, a resident of the Villa of No. Smithfield and formerly of Harrisville, RI, passed away on Tuesday
at Landmark Medical Ctr. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur E. Pennigton. Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Woonsocket, she was the
daughter of the late John B. & Maude (Trudeau) Allen. Lillian was a Elementary School Teacher for the Woonsocket School Dept. retiring in 1982. She was a supervisor for the federally funded program of Compensatory Education, a former member of the New England & R.I.
Reading Association, The Woonsocket Teachers Union & Woonsocket School Administration Association. From 1958 to 1960, she was Chairwoman for the Woonsocket School Committee. Her favorite hobbies included Traveling. Reading & Quilting. She is survived by 3 sons, Russell W. Pennington of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. Richard B. Pennington of Coventry, RI & Ronald A. Pennington of Harrisville, RI, 3 daughters, Anne M. Bosworth of Guemes Island, WA., Janice Thuot of No. Smithfield, RI, & Pamela J. Michaud of Harrisville, RI, also a sister Wilma Camarro of Maine. She was the loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren & 27 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Williams, Louise Bosworth & Irene Hall. Her Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Theresa's Church, 35 Dion Dr. Harrisville, RI. Burial will be in St.
Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
