Lidia J. (Kosciukiewicz) Jalowy, 80, 0f Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on April 26th at her home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Walter Jalowy.
Born in Poznan, Poland she was the daughter of Eugeniusz & Jadwiga (Przybyl) Kosciukiewicz. Upon arriving in the United States, she settled in Woonsocket. Lidia had various employment during her adult years especially working in the housekeeping dept. at St. Antoine Residence in No. Smithfield. She was a communicant and along with her late husband was very active at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Woonsocket at all the parish affairs.
She is survived by her daughter, Janina & her husband Krzysztof Mirga of Pascoag, RI., She was” BABCIA” to Weronika & Aleksandra, she also leaves 2 sisters in Poland, Aleksandra & Maria.
Relatives & Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, (May 6th), at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 174 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Visitation hours are respectfully omitted.
