Julia M. (Bartnick) Amaral. 95, a resident of the Friendly Home, passed away peacefully on July 27th at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late William P. Amaral, Jr.
Born June 19, 1928 in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Ignatius & Rosalia (Karczewska) Bartnick. ‘
Julia was employed as a Case Aid for the State of R.I. Dept. of Welfare for 30 years before retiring.
She enjoyed acrylic painting, traveling, reading romance novels, & going to Twin River. To know her is to love her, especially from her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Donna & her husband Andre Fantoni of Woonsocket, a sister Cecelia Thifault of Port Orange, FL., and several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Blanche Beaudoin, Helen Carpenter, & Ted Bartnick.
Relatives & Friends are invited to a visitation hour from 11:00 to 11:45 A.M. on Thursday ,( August 3rd) followed by a prayer service at 11:45 A.M. at the Kubaska Funeral Home. 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
