Joseph S. Wasilewski

Joseph S. Wasilewski , 85 of Woonsocket passed away on Nov. 2, 2010 at Landmark Med. Ctr.
He was the loving husband to Bertha (Swiech) Wasilewski. Born: March 10, 1925 in Woonsocket
he was the son of the late Stanley & Sophie (Kuziemska) Wasilewski, he resided in Woonsocket for the
last 42 years. Joseph was a custodian for Bryant University and prior to that he was machinist for the
former COTT Soda Co. in Millis, MA. He faithfully served in the US NAVY during WWII and was a member
of the Fleet Reserve Association. He was a member & past Commander of the Fairmount Post American
Legion Post # 85 in Woonsocket He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Woonsocket.
Besides his wife he was the beloved father to Richard Wasilewski of Woonsocket & Linda and her husband
Joseph Pemantell Jr. of Jamestown, RI. as well to several nieces & nephews. He was the brother to the late
Mary Naravage & Stella Pepper. His Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home
33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 :00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church
Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are
invited. Visitation hours will be Thursday eve, (Nov. 4th) from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations
can be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
