JoAnn (Paquette) Wood

JoAnn (Paquette) Wood, of Woonsocket passed away on March 29, 2011. She was the beloved wife
of James Wood for 28 years. Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of Josephine (Norek) Paquette
of Woonsocket & the late Joseph Paquette. Besides her husband & mother, she leaves a daughter
Nancy Bailey & husband Scott of No. Smithfield, Her granddaughters Christy & Alyssa, grandsons Jaylyn & Neil.
Her brothers Thomas, John & wife Lisa Paquette of Woonsocket, Mark & wife Rose Paquette of Chepachet, also
many nieces & nephews.
JoAnn was a histologist at Tufts University , Cummings Way, in Grafton, MA. sincec 1993..
JoAnn was an avid quilter & she loved her Newflies. She belonged to the Cumberland Friendship Quilt Guild
of Cumberland. The Narragansett Bay Quilt Association in East Greenwich and previously to the Greenville Library Quilt Guild
in Greenville, The Blackstone Valley Piecemakers in Slatersville also the Happy Hookers of Glocester, Reiki and Tai Chi
She was the passed President of the RI Kennel Club 08-09, Newfoundland Club of America, & The Newfoundland Club
of New England.
Relatives & Friends are invited to visitation hours on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00PM at the Kubaska Funeral Home
33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Funeral Service at 8:00PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be Private.
