Jeannette Y. Smith

Jeannette Y. (Fredette) Smith, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday at the St. Antoine Residence with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Smith. Born July 2, 1921 in Lawrence, MA. ,she was the daughter of the late Napoleon & Eva (Dubuc) Fredette. Jeannette was employed for the state of Rhode Island Hot Lunch Program before retiring. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Woonsocket, and also a member of the parish choir for the last thirty years. She was a recipient of the Papal Cross .Her favorite pastimes included knitting, crafts, bowling and listening to music. She was the loving mother to four daughters, Evelyn J. Smith & Nancy J. Genereux both of Woonsocket, Pauline A. Sand of Chepachet and Theresa L. Deshaies of Mesa, AZ. She was the loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ernest & Roland Fredette & Lillian Chenail. Her Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, Burial will in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. one hour before the Funeral Mass. In leau of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart and Stroke Association, P.O.
