Janina Klara

Janina "Jennie" Klara, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday at the St. Antoine Residence. Born April 16, 1922 in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Martin & Stefania (Wawskiewicz) Klara, she resided in Woonsocket all her life. Jennie was employed as a secretary for the Axelrod Co. in Woonsocket and then the Sisters of Mercy in Cumberland before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Woonsocket. She is survived by a brother, Martin Klara of Woonsocket. She was the sister of the late Peter & Jacob Klara, Anna Pristawa & Helen Bienkiewicz, She also leaves several nieces & nephews, several grandnieces & grandnephews. Her Funeral will be Thursday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
