James M. “Jimmy” Budnick,69, of Blackstone, MA. Passed away peacefully on Friday at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of 41 years to Jeanne (Fortier) Budnick.
Born July 17, 1956 in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Frank and Matilda (Lemek) Budnick. He resided in Blackstone all his life.
Jimmy was a machinist at the former Whitinsville Machine Shop before retiring. He enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, watching golf, working on cars and just hanging out with his buddies in the garage. He loved his dear cats, Rusty, Boots and Mittens and his best K9 friends Bella and Nikko.
Besides his wife he leaves his son Nicholas and his wife Tara Budnick of Blackstone, MA., 2 brothers, Frank and his wife Monique Budnick of Florida, Brian and his wife Laurie Budnick of Sutton, MA and a sister Patricia Dubois of Woonsocket. Also several nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Nicholas and Tara’s close friends Kyle and his wife Katie LaBerge and their children Riely and Aiden for their loving and kind support.
His Funeral will be Saturday (April 18th) at 9:00 AM from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33-35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Divine Mercy Parish, 48 St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours will be Friday, (April 17th), from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
