George "Yuri" Trenkler 88, of Marigold Circle, No. Providence, passed away on Thursday at Our Lady
of Fatima Hospital in No. Providence. He was the loving husband of Helen (Fursenko) Trenkler.
Born: Oct. 14, 1921 in Russia, he was the son of the late Edward & Adele (Predenek) Trenkler, he arrirved in this
country in 1956, settling in No. Providence, Mr. Trenkler was a Engineer/Researcher for Texas Instruments in
Attleboro retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Woonsocket.
He was President and on the Board of Directors for the St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Historical Cemetery in
Cumberland and also a member of the German Social & Society Club in Pawtucket.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Helen Ready of No. Scituate, 2 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren
His Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a
Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 74 Harris Ave. Woonsocket,
Burial will be in St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Historical Cemetery in Cumberland. Relatives & Friends are invited.
Visitation hours will be Friday, Feb. 19th fron 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. A Panachida service will be officiated at 5:00 P.M.
by the Rev, Anthony Perkins, Pastor of St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
