November 19, 1919 ~ September 12, 2016 (age 96) 96 Years Old Gaston E. Merlet. 92, of Diamond Hill Rd. passed away peacefully on Sept. 12 th at the Home & Hospice
Care of Rhode Island in Providence. He was the loving husband of the late Amelia (Stefanik) Merlet.
Born Nov. 19, 1919 in Holyoke, MA. he was the son of the late Emile & Alphonsine (Guay) Merlet.
Emile was employed as a weaver at the Rochambeault Worcester Co. for many years retiring in 1984
He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was the brother of the late Roland Merlet.
His Funeral & Burial will be Private.
