Franklin D.R. Spearman, 65, passed away on Wednesday at his home
He was the son of Lula M. (Harmon)Spearman of Pawtucket. Born Nov. 8, 1944 in Woonsocket he resided in
Woonsocket all his life. Franklin was a cook for the New York Lunch Restaurant on Main St.
which he always called his second home, for many years untill retiring. He was a member of the
First Baptist Church on Blackstone St. His favorite pastimes were cooking, fishing, singing and just
enjoyed the company of people.
Besides his mother he leaves 2 brothers Maxie & George Spearman of Woonsocket
4 sisters, Nancy (Spearman-Mills)Johnson of Merced, CA., Lauretta (Spearman) Hobbs, Ida (Spearman) Acquisto, & Joan Spearman all of
Woonsocket. 3 Brother in laws Harvey Johnson, Herman Hobbs & Phillip Acquisto He was the brother of the late Harry, Willie (Jr.) & David Spearman and nephew of the late
Bennie (Harmon) Moore, Bessie (Harmon) Pearle & Lucy (Harmon) Evans. Relatives & Friends are invited to visitation hours on
Tuesday at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
