Frances Siminski

Frances Siminski of North Smithfield died peacefully on March 6, 2014 at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph B. Siminski.

Born in Easthampton, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Michalina (Aczkiewicz) Olech, she lived most of her life in Forestdale.

Frances was employed by A.T.Cross for many years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, traveling, and crafts.

She is survived by her son, Robert J. Siminski and his wife, Patricia Kelley, of East Greenwich; her granddaughter, Laura, and husband George Stockfisch; her grandson, Stephen, and his wife Kristen Siminski; two step-grandchildren, David (Julie) Fallon and Daniel (Audra) Fallon; and five great-grandchildren, Renee Stockfisch, Colin Stockfisch, William Siminski, Emily Siminski, and Bridget Fallon. Frances was predeceased by her two sisters, Caroline Gurski and Bertha Julevich, and her two brothers, Anthony and Stanley Olech

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. from the KUBASKA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Harris Ave., Woonsocket , with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville, RI An entombment will be at Notre Dame Mausoleum in Worcester at a later date.

Calling hours are Monday, 4 to 7 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Frances' memory can be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, 7168 Columbia Gateway Blvd. Suite 100, Columbia, MD 21046, the RHAM Foundation, P.O. Box 1438, Hebron, CT 06248, or a charity of your choice.
