Emil J. Kosior

Emil J. Kosior, 92, of Blackstone, passed away on Friday at Landmark Medical Center after a short illness.
He was the husband of the late Merriom (Ellsey) Kosior. Born Oct. 11, 1919 in Woonsocket, he was the son of
the late Joseph & Helen (Kopacz) Kosior, he was a life long resident of Blackstone. For 50 years he was the owner &
operator of Emil's Repair & Service Station in Blackstone before retiring. He was a past member of the Blackstone Police
Dept. which he served for 50 years as a elected town Constable. He also was a Volunteer Fire Fighter & Forest Fire Warden
for the Town of Blackstone. An avid Race Car fan, he was a sponsor for local race cars, at area race tracks. Known for his
friendly & caring personality, he will be missed dearly by his family & close friends. He is survived by a son James M. Kosior,
of Blackstone, a daughter Emily Ann Parrott of Foxboro, MA. & 3 Grandchildren. He was the father of the late Robert J. Kosior
and brother of the late Joanne Hlyn & Chester Kosior. His Funeral will be Tuesday, (March 27th) at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska
Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Requiem Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in the Polish National Catholic
Church of Our Saviour, 500 Smithfield Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited.
A visitation hour will be Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. before the Funeral Mass.
