Born on April 2, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Betty was the daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (McCabe) Muse. Raised in Millville, MA, by her mother and Aunt Helen, she attended local public schools before graduating from St. Mary’s in Milford, MA.
