Elaine M. (Godin) Zajas, 83, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Sunday January 24, 2021 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence. Born in Bellingham MA, she was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband of 62 wonderful years, Adam Zajas. She was a loving and extremely devoted mother to her three children she is survived by: Steven Zajas of Providence, Brian Zajas of Pascoag and Cheryl Carroll of Greenville. She is also survived by her grandson Adam Carroll, her granddaughter Lia M J Zajas, her late brother Leo P. Godin of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews. In her younger days, Elaine was an extremely talented seamstress who sewed countless complex custom drapery treatments for her late brother’s interior design business, including the elaborate auditorium curtains for Tolman High School in Pawtucket. She was also the neighborhood go-to person for all their clothing alteration needs, as well as lovingly providing years of babysitting services to the children of numerous lifelong neighborhood friends.
