Dr. Edward Wawszkiewicz, dear son of Sophie Wawszkiewicz of Biddeford, ME. formerly of No. Smithfield and the late Joseph Wawszkiewicz and fond brother of the late Dr. Monica Wawszkiewicz.
Edward received his Undergraduate degree from Stanford University, Graduate degree, Ph. D., from Harvard University. Fellowship: Max Planck Institute for Cellular Chemistry in Munich, Germany, studying under the direction of Feodor Felix Konrad Lynen, a German Biochemist and Nobel Peace Prize winner in Medicine, 1964.
Edward was a professor at the Illinois State University. He spent most of his professional career, studying scientific research. He was also employed at the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois.
Funeral Services were held in Chicago. Relatives & Friends are invited to a committal graveside service
on Friday (Sept. 16th) at 12:30 P.M. in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
