On June 5th 2023 Dorothy (Dottie)(Lajoie)Brule, loving wife of Anthony Brule for 42 years left this world peacefully surrounded by loved ones to join some beloved family members in heaven after a brief illness.
Dorothy was born in Ware, Massachusetts June 10th 1952 to the late Hughie and Nancy (Carter) Lajoie. She leaves behind two daughters, Tracy Lajoie and Sarah Brule, two granddaugthers Natalia DaSilva and Mariah LaSalle, and two brothers Fred and Charlie Lajoie.
Dottie was preceded in death by sisters Elaine Dodge, Janet Poirier, Doris Lajoie, also brothers Hughie and Eddie Lajoie. She attended school in Woonsocket Rhode Island and worked at A.T. Cross for many years before retiring.
Dot loved to enjoy the sun and ocean views from Colt Park and overnight stays at the Pleasant View Inn on Misquamicut beach. Dottie’s other passions were cooking and watching football and baseball. Although an avid Patriot fan she and her husband Tony would watch all the football games available on television. Dot was dedicated to the Red Sox loving the rivalry against Tony’s Yankees. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all for her big heart, fantastic cooking, and her naive wit.
