Dimitry Wolansky

Dimitry Wolansky, 97, of Harrisville, Ri, passed away on Oct. 22nd, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Maria (Daub) Wolansky. Born January 19, 1922 in the Ukraine, he arrived in the United States in 1955. He was a skilled machine mechanic,  working for a electrical wire Co. in Pawtucket before retiring. He was a communicant,   a very active and  dedicated member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Woonsocket. He is survived by 2 sons, Gilbert & his wife Hiedi Wolansky of Smithfield, RI,  Rainer & his wife Diane Wolansky of Attleboro, MA. a daughter, Pamela Lusiak of Pawtucket, RI., also 8 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. He also leaves 2 brothers in the Ukraine. He was the father of the late Mario Wolansky He was the father in law to the late John Lusiak. His Funeral will be Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Devine Liturgy at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Blackstone St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Thursday, (Oct. 24th) from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
