In Loving Memory of Dianna Aubin
1968 – 2025
Dianna Aubin, a beloved resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2025, at the age of 56. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of Frances and Russel Sloan.
Dianna touched the lives of many with her boundless kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. She was known for her generous spirit and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. Her heart was pure, her presence comforting, and her strength inspiring. A survivor of cancer, Dianna faced life’s challenges with remarkable resilience and grace. She was a fighter, a rock, and the glue that held her family close, even through the most difficult times.
Her love for life was evident in everything she did. She embraced the outdoors, found peace by the beach, joy in boating and camping, and freedom riding motorcycles. She cherished the serenity of backyard fires and the beauty in every moment. Dianna was a sanctuary for many—always a safe place, always a source of strength.
She is survived by her three loving sisters: Frances England, Theresa Simoneau, and Kathleen Sloan. Her legacy lives on through her five children: Nicholas Aubin, Amanda Aubin, Daniel Stober, Summer Aubin, and Crystal Nixon. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to ten grandchildren: Lexie, Hunter, Trevor, Ariel, Elizabeth, Kaige, Cameron, Amelia, Nicholas Jr., and Korie.
Dianna had a deep love for animals and an even deeper love for people. Her selflessness, her joy, and her light will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
She is now reunited in eternal peace with her loving parents, Frances and Russel, and her soulmate, Richard Nixon. While her absence leaves a profound void, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
May she rest peacefully, embraced in God’s grace, surrounded by love. Relatives & friends are invited to Visitation Hours on Sunday, June 15th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Funeral & Burial will be Private.
