Daniel Conant

Daniel Conant, 60, of So. China, ME, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28th at Maine General Hospital in Augusta, ME. He was the loving husband of Jeannine (Couto) Conant. He was the son of the late John Conant. He is survived by his mother, Claire Theroux and his stepfather Eugene Theroux. Besides his wife and parents he leaves behind his stepson Roberto, brothers Richard Conant and his wife, Donna, and Eugene Conant both of Woonsocket and brother Anthony Theroux of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his brothers Philip Theroux and Michael Theroux.

He was a roofer for many years for G & E Roofing. He had a great love for his nieces and nephews, which he enjoyed spoiling them. He was a proud grandfather of Kimmy and James, which he loved spending time with them. Danny was an avid gardener, and he enjoyed tending to his goldfish pond. A talented handyman, he enjoyed working with his hands and doing home projects.

Relatives and friends are invited to Danny’s Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, (March 18th, 2025), at 10:00 AM at St. Agatha’s Church, 34 Joffre Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will be held at St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. The family will greet guests at the entrance of the church beginning at 9:30 AM. Visitation hours are respectfully omitted.
