Carol A. (Franklin) Hansen, 72, of Woonsocket, formerly of Seattle, WA., and Pascoag, RI, passed away on May 8th at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Haslam and the late Charles “Chuck” Hansen. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Lloyd & Gloria (Rabitor) Franklin.
Before retiring Carol was a hairdresser & beautician at various beauty salons. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren & family. She also enjoyed going to the casino.
She is survived by her two sons Richard Haslam of Ocala, FL., and Keith and his wife Kathleen Haslam of Chepachet, RI., and her two grandchildren Levi and Kayla. She also leaves five brothers, David Franklin of Harrisville, RI., Thomas “Marvin” Franklin and Danny Franklin both of Ocala, FL., Ronald Franklin of No. Smithfield, RI., and Steven Franklin of Wake Forest, NC.
Relatives & Friends are invited to visitation hours, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a prayer service at 4:00 PM on Sunday, (May 25th) at the Kubaska Funeral Home 33-35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Saint Patrick’s Church Food Pantry in Harrisville, RI.
