Anne (Medynski) Melnyk, 87, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Monday at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late Walter Melnyk. Born, Sept. 12, 1926 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Elias "Alex" & Mary (Romanovich) Medynski. Anne was employed as a stitcher for the Stamina Mills before retiring. She was a communicant, and a very active member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Woonsocket. She is survived by 2 daughters, Elizabeth Fleury of No. Smithfield & Pauline Comtois of Manville, also 5 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. Relatives & Friends are invited to a Mass of Devine Liturgy on Wednesday, (July 30th) at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Blackstone St. Woonsocket.
