Anna E. Curis

Anna E. (Pulnik) Curis, 94, formerly of Millville, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2015 at the Ballou Home for the Aged, in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Joseph Curis. Born in Millville, she was the daughter of the late John & Agnes (Mikula) Pulnik. Mrs. Curis worked at New England Instrument and previously at Fernandes Super Market as a meat wrapper. She loved traveling, sewing, shopping and family gatherings. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Millville and a member of the Millville Senior Citizens Center. Anna was the loving mother to Colleen Curis. She is also survived by a sister Jennie Doucette of Oakland, RI, and was an aunt to many nieces & nephews. Anna was the sister of the late Joseph, Frank, John & Matthew Pulnik, Mary Creighton, Helen Mikulis, Amelia Durozoy and Stella Tainsh. Anna's family would like to thank the entire staff at the Ballou Home for the love, care and tenderness they showed her during her stay at the home. Her Funeral will be Friday, (Oct. 2nd) at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Augustine's Church, 17 Lincoln St. Millville, MA. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Millville Library or to St. Augustine's Church.
