Anna A. Basan

Anna A. Basan, 95, a resident of the Ballou Home, Mendon Rd, passed away peacefully on Thursday
at the Ballou Home. Born May 24, 1915 in Woonsocket , she was the daughter of the late Andrew
& Julia (Lapiniak) Basan, she resided in Woonsocket all her life. Anna was employed at the former
Tupperware Co. retiring in 1978, she previously was a finish worker for the former French Worcested
Co. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Woonsocket and was once
active on parish committee's and the parish choir. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross
and as a young girl, she was a member of the Girl Scouts of America.
She was the sister of the late Anthony Basan & Carrie Kulik. All are invited to a Mass of Devine Liturgy
on Tuesday, Dec. 28th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Blackstone St.
Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation hours are respectfully omitted. A very warm
and heartfelt sincere thank you to the staff at the Ballou Home & the Beacon Hospice Ctr. for thier
professional & loving care for Anna.
