Adele A. (Biadas) LaBonte, age 94 died July 4, 2009 at Mt. St. Francis Health Center with
her daughter by her bedside. She was the loving wife of the late Edmund LaBonte.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (Kulka) Biadas.
Mrs. LaBonte worked as a spinner for 50 years, retiring in 1979 and was employed at the
former Hanora Mills, French Worsted and other area textile mills.
She had been a communicant of St. Ann's Church & St. Anthony's Church.
She loved to read and enjoyed her daily walks.
She is survived by a daughter Eleanor Leonard of Cranston, a daughter-in-law Lorraine Labonte of So. Attleboro, four grandchildren: Kim Pelletier of No. Smithfield, Kevin Labonte of Pawtucket, Dustin Leonard of No. Kingston & Jessica Souza of Turlock, Ca. also five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sons George & Don Labonte, also her brothers Stanley & Edward Biadas, sisters Catherine Tarvis, Helen Huart and Emily Henault.
Her Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. from The Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kosta Church, 174 Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be in The Parish Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be held Tuesday morning before the Funeral Mass from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.
The family is thankful to the staff of both Mt. St. Francis Health Center & Odyssey Health Care who lovingly and compassionately cared for Adele.
