Dear JoAnn, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I knew Sam for a short period of time (Cortland Place), but knew he was a fine man. I always enjoyed seeing his smiling face. We both know how difficult it can be watching your loved one suffer this disease, but always find comfort knowing you didn't miss those glimmers of recognition and big smiles. He will always be with you, take care.

Sam was always a sweet, kind man, and I send our deepest condolences to the family. I know it's been a particularly difficult time for Joanne. May you be comforted by the love around you.
