Jean LeBlanc passed away peacefully at her home Monday December 11, 2018 at the age of 79 with her loving Husband Bob and Daughter Deena by her side as well as long time family friend Cheryl Plante. Originally from Woonsocket where she attended Woonsocket High School, Jean has been a long time resident of Rayner St in Blackstone, MA. Jean was the daughter of the late Martha & Jerry Rossi born at Woonsocket Hospital on 12/16/1939. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Robert LeBlanc, her dear sister Geraldine Berard of Woonsocket, her loving 5 children Trudy Dainef and her husband Paul of Cumberland, Deena Himsey and Jeff Gamache of Woonsocket, Richard Bourassa and his wife Laura of Milford, Ma, Mary Ann Cook and her husband Barry of Providence, and Robert LeBlanc and his wife Jennifer of Whittensville, 7 Grandchildren Jessica Bourassa, Alisha Bourasssa, Taylor Cook, Cameron Cook, Jenna Bourassa, Marcella & Mason Bourassa, and 4 Great Grandchildren Aimee Bourassa, Emily Ware, Isis Bourassa and Madalyn Bourassa, and her faithful Basset Hounds Sofia & Olivia. She is predeceased by her brother Micheal "Butch" Rossi. In Jean's working year she was employed at Cullens Nursing Home as a CNA,  and later worked for AT Cross. Jean found her calling in life as a devoted wife and as Loving Mother and Grand Mother, Jean took great pride in raising her Great Granddaughter Aimee along with her husband. She enjoyed every holiday decorating every inch of their home, most likely because she new the family would be coming over. Family was everything to Jean. She also was an avid sports fan supporting the home teams of course Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and 1 / 2 Bruins. Kind, Loving, Compassionate are just a few words that describe Jean, and she was always ready to laugh at a new joke. As a music lover,  Jean was a big ELVIS fan and enjoyed animals of all shapes and sizes,  particularly Basset Hounds,  having many throughout her life, and even caring for 3 Guinea Pigs at the time of her passing. Jean had great faith in God and was part of the Harvest Community Church in Woonsocket,  Relatives & Friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Sunday, Jan. 6th at 2:00 P.M. at the Harvest Community Church, 60 North Main St.  Woonsocket.
