Emily (Hupala) Chambers

Emily (Hupala)  Chambers, 101, a resident of the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville, passed away peacefully on Monday at the Holiday. She was the loving wife of the late Ruble Chambers (Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy). Born, April 5, 1916, in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Wasyl & Rose (Chomka) Hupala.  Emily was a Sales Associate for various department stores in Hartford, CT. , Houston TX., and in Woonsocket for many years before retiring. Her favorite pastime was dancing & needlework embroidery. She is survived by a brother,  Walter F. Hupala of Woonsocket, also a niece Rose King, M.D. of Wellesley, MA & 3 great nieces. She was the sister of the late John & Stanley Hupala & Katherine Fuller. Her Funeral will be Tuesday, (April 18th) at 10:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.  Relatives & Friends are invited.
