Elaine Marie (Ringuette) Melnyk

Elaine Marie Melnyk (Ringuette) age 66 was called home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2018.   Born on February 15, 1952 in Massachusetts, She married the love of her life in 1975 and together they had two children.  Elaine was preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen Melnyk, her parents Annette and Raymond Ringuette, and her brother Kenneth Ringuette.  She is survived by her two children Matthew (Hillarie) Melnyk and Scott (Elicia) Melnyk; her grandchildren Jackson, Patrick, and Jonathan.  She is also survived by her brothers Richard and Paul as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed traveling the world, reading as well as spending time with family and friends. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8th, at 10:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a prayer of Devine Liturgy at 11:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Blackstone, MA.  Relatives & Friends are invited. A Visitation hour will be Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. before the Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association,  146 Clifford St. Providence, RI, 02903. Following the interment, a celebration of life and family collation will be  held at the Melnyk residence on Log Rd. in North Smithfield.
