Claire J. (Provencher) Lanoue, 81, of Woonsocket, passed away on Friday, at Landmark Medical Ctr., She was the loving wife of Normand F. Lanoue, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this May. Born, Dec. 11, 1936, in Slatersville, RI, she was the daughter of the late Donat & Florina (Paquin) Provencher. Claire was a secretary for the Crosby Valve Co. for many years before retiring. Her most cherished and beloved moments were spending time with her family. She was a communicant and very active at all parish functions at All Saints Parish. Her favorite pastimes included, playing bingo and cards, reading, going to Twin River and Fox Woods. She also volunteered at the Woonsocket Library. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Susan and her husband Gary Rochefort of Woonsocket, and Linda and her husband Scott Davidge of Blackstone, MA. 4, grandchildren, Devri, Jennifer, Corey and Jack, a great grandson, Cameron, and a sister Doris Burrows of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Roger, Joseph, and Robert Provencher, and 2 sisters, Lucille Davis and Leona Bergeron . Her Funeral will be Wednesday, (Feb. 21,) at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Parish, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Slatersville, RI. Relatives and Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Tuesday, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
