Anna (Okruta) Gaczynski

Anna (Okruta)  Gaczynski, 88, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, at her home ,with her daughter & son in law at her side. She was the loving wife of the late Thadeus  Gaczynski.Born September 16, 1928 in Krzeszaw, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jozef & Julianna (Sikora) Okruta. She was a WW11  survivor  and after arriving  in the United States ,in 1950, she became a citizen.  Anna was employed at various textile, co’s in the area before retiring.  She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka  Church in Woonsocket. She is survived by a daughter, Wladzia and her son in law Paul McCarthy of Lincoln, MA., also several nieces & nephews in the area & in Poland.  She was the sister of the late Stanislaw Okruta.  Her Funeral will be Monday, (July 31st) at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Blackstone, MA., Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are  Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
