Ann C. Zoltek

Ann C. (Page) Zoltek, 80, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully at St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield on June 16th after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. A lifelong resident of Woonsocket, Ann was born on March 4, 1936. She was the beloved wife of John Zoltek, her devoted caretaker and her "hero" who passed away on May 30, 2016. Ann was the daughter of the late Oliver French and Mary (Donohue-Page) French.
Ann was the loving mother of two daughters, Susan Taratuta of North Smithfield and her husband George, Donna Barrie of Woonsocket and her husband John and a son John B. Zoltek of Kalispell, Montana and his wife Amy, She is survived by seven grandchildren, Karen Watson, Brenda Abrants, Geneva Zoltek, Heather Branchaud, Steven Taratuta, Alex Taratuta and Kevin Taratuta, and also five great grandchildren. Ann was the sister of Frederick J. Page, Carolyn Allard and the late George Page. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and loyal friend. We will miss her dearly.
Ann was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and Katherine Gibbs School in Providence, RI. She was a legal secretary until her retirement in 2007. Ann enjoyed volleyball as a player and as an enthusiastic supporter of her late husband, John's long career in that sport. She made many lifelong friends through this association. Ann also loved knitting, crossword puzzles, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She loved playing cards with her friends and would never miss a chance to go shopping.
Ann's family would like to publicly thank the Special Care Unit of St. Antoine for their compassion and professional care throughout her stay.
Her Funeral will be Tusday, June 21st, at 10:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, No. Main & Daniels St. Woonscket. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory can be made to Bryan's Food Pantry at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 190 No. Main St. Woonsocket, RI, 02895 or to St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield, RI, 02896.
